Chaffee County Writers Exchange Writing Workshop scheduled for Monday, March 28 – by Ark Valley Voice Staff

The Chaffee County Writers Exchange (CCWE) is sponsoring a writing workshop from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28. The virtual workshop will take place via Zoom. The workshop is free and open to the public.

In this month’s WE Write, award-winning author and storyteller Laurel McHargue will highlight the elements of a satisfying short story and get you started spinning your own matching threads. With prompts designed to tickle your stories, this session will leave you with what it takes to captivate even the pickiest audience! If you love to write, you won’t want to miss this exciting opportunity.

Laurel McHargue, a West Point graduate and author of 12 books, grew up near Boston but answered the call of the sirens of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, where she settled first in Leadville and then Salida.
