‘Deadpool 3’ Screenwriters Tease ‘Fish-Out-Of-Water’ Story

Screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick recently teased new plot details. Dead Pool 3.

The two screenwriters tell Post-Cred Module“I think this presents a wonderful opportunity for fish out of water. Deadpool is a madman at the center of a film. Usually the madmen are the supporting characters and the protagonists are reasonably sane. Our film is reversed. Dropping a madman in a very sane world is pure butter. It’s going to be really fun.

The word “fish out of water” has been used to describe the upcoming sequel, implying they’ll have a lot of fun with it, especially with the fact that Deadpool is aware of the new universe he finds himself in. interview for his latest work featuring Chris Hemsworth, spider headReese teased, “The MCU is an incredible sandbox to play in. We’ll also throw a lot of shots because we 110% give it or take it one day at a time. That’s the Bull Durham thing. Like we’re taking it one day at a time. We can’t divulge specifics, but suffice it to say that when Ryan, Paul and I are on Zoom together, we cackle. So, that’s pretty fun.

The next dead Pool the installment will become the first-ever R-Rated movie under Disney; as previously confirmed by the duos, the film will be no less explicit despite the change in production studio. After developing the first two films under 20th Century Fox, Disney’s acquisition means that dead Pool will be part of the MCU.
